This variation is more populars compared to other type of video poker. This is a much preferred game as it offers better payouts. Players can pair when playing this game. They can pair Jacks or Q or K or even Ace. Royal flush is always considered as best hand to play. So you need to follow certain set of rules when to use or break royal flush. Jacks or better is a 5 card game so players can easily deal or even trade a set of 5 cards. Here are a few strategies that you can make use of for playing.

4 cards for royal flush	Draw single
3 cards for royal flush	Draw two till you are sure to hold winning hand
2 cards for royal flush	Draw 3 till you have winning hands
4 for straight flush	Draw single
3 cards for straight flush	Draw 2 till you hold winning hands
2 cards for straight flush	Draw 3 cards, till you are winning
4 cards for flush	Draw single card till you hold winning cards
3 cards for flush	Draw 2 cards, till you have winning pair or even high value card
2 cards for flush	Draw 3 cards, till holding winning hands
3 of same type	Keep it and draw two cards
2 pairs	Draw single card
High pair of cards	Draw 3 cards and avoid breaking high value cards
Low pair of cards	May not be winning pair so discard it
High pair of cards	Keep single card to make new pair
Otherwise	Draw 5 cards
